We have four good sized pools which are set over ten acres of water, all pools have a good range of coarse fish. 

From roach, perch, tench, bream and carp recently caught at 29lb+. All pools have clay bottoms and have an average depth of 6ft, with the banks all grass they are ideal to set up your bivvy. 

Basford fishing pools were dug out by my grandfather in 1987 and have been in the smith family ever since. I’ve grown up around the pools and now me and my young family are very fortunate to own Basford shooting ground and fishing pools. We are very much looking forward to this new venture and hope to improve the grounds.
