I have been running the shoot now for the last 10 years but previously helped my grandfather since a young age. As kids we would pick clays and Stan would have us painting clays in white paint. Thankfully we have moved on from this and now we buy a range of coloured clays 

All our traps are automatic and on a push button release system. Our 75 bird sporting clay shoots are set over 13 stands with a different set up for each shoot. We have something for all abilities. 

We cater for everyone here at basford from top shots to complete novices everyone is welcome to come and have a go. Juniors very welcome but have to be supervised at all times. 

We can also cater for stag/hen party’s, works outings or just a group of mates wanting a sporting activity. We hire guns and offer a introduction into clay shooting and gun safety. Please get in touch for more information. 

Anyone attending must provide a current shotgun certificate unless private tuition and hire has been organised prior to your visit.
